This week on the Diatribe, our obligatory “what does it all mean?” post-election roundup. Also, we discuss a study by CU Denver professors on the sociology of unfriending on Facebook (because it apparently takes a couple of PhDs to prove that posts about politics and religion can be off-putting) and, finally, now that one of our own has earned fancy coffee’s highest honor, is Colorado poised to become the new mecca of gourmet coffee?
LOVE/HATE:
Jared: hated on the prevalence of one way streets in Denver.
Joel: hated on The Denver Post‘s website and its proprietary ID tags and links when copying and pasting. Note: this is the second time a Diatriber has hated on the Post‘s website.
John: hated on the dearth of brunch outlets in Denver, not because he loves brunch, but because he’s sick of seeing Empire Strikes Back-sized lines outside of moderately competent restaurants.
