Lots of lovin’ and hatin’ went down at our first Love + Hate Fest, recorded live at Forest Room 5 in Denver on October 12.
Comedian Andrew Orvedahl waxes hateful on something he calls “The Denver Shuffle.” Eryc Eyl, a music critic for the Denver Post’s Reverb, shares five minutes of love for local music. Local food writers Kelsey Blackwell and Kathleen St. John break down their loves/hates of the Denver/Boulder food scene. Ron Doyle and Erica Grossman tackle the question, Why does Denver’s web culture suck?‘ And perhaps the greatest part: an open-mic session in which audience members let loose their own personal loves and hates.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped out. We want to hear more of your loves and hates about life in the Mile High City. Drop a line to info@denverdiatribe.com or leave a voicemail message at 720-282-YELL.
Nice job folks! How can I follow Kelsey Blackwell on Twitter? I can’t find her…
She’s at @kblackwell
Thanks denverdiatribe for the share
